
Salsa Verde
Roasted tomatillos and serranos blended into a bright green salsa.
Ingredients
- 1.5 lb tomatillos, husked
- 2 serrano peppers
- 1/2 white onion
- 3 cloves garlic
- 1/2 cup cilantro
- 1 lime, juiced
- Salt to taste
Instructions

Broil the tomatillos, serranos, onion and garlic on a sheet pan 8 to 10 minutes until charred.

Cool slightly, then blend with cilantro and lime juice.

Season with salt.

Serve warm or chilled.
