
Habanero Salsa
A fiery, fruity habanero salsa — use sparingly.
Ingredients
- 8 habanero peppers, stemmed
- 4 roma tomatoes
- 1/2 onion
- 4 cloves garlic
- 1/4 cup lime juice
- 1 tbsp oil
- Salt to taste
Instructions

Char the habaneros, tomatoes, onion and garlic in a dry skillet until blackened in spots.

Blend with the lime juice and oil until smooth.

Season with salt.

Simmer 10 minutes to mellow the raw edge, then cool. Handle with gloves.
