
Carne Asada Tacos
Citrus-marinated skirt steak grilled hot and fast, chopped and piled onto double tortillas.
Ingredients
- 2 lb skirt or flank steak
- 1/2 cup orange juice
- 1/4 cup lime juice
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 1/4 cup cilantro, chopped
- 2 tbsp soy sauce
- 1 tsp cumin
- Salt and pepper
- Corn tortillas, onion, cilantro, salsa
Instructions

Whisk the citrus juices, garlic, cilantro, soy sauce and cumin together.

Marinate the steak 2 to 8 hours refrigerated.

Heat a grill or cast iron to very high.

Grill 3 to 4 minutes per side for medium-rare.

Rest 10 minutes, then chop against the grain.

Serve on warm doubled tortillas with onion, cilantro and salsa.
