
Homemade Corn Tortillas
Two ingredients and a press — fresh tortillas that puff on the comal.
Ingredients
- 2 cups masa harina
- 1.5 cups warm water
- 1/2 tsp salt
Instructions

Mix the masa harina, salt and warm water into a soft dough like play-dough.

Rest covered 20 minutes; add water a tablespoon at a time if it cracks.

Divide into 16 balls.

Press between plastic sheets in a tortilla press.

Cook on a dry comal 45 seconds per side, flipping twice, until they puff.

Keep wrapped in a towel until serving.
